Recently, Amazon US announced a new policy update for magnet products (excluding toys), as follows:

The announcement shows that due to new safety regulations introduced by the US Consumer Product Safety Commission to reduce injuries caused by ingesting small high-power magnets, Amazon is about to launch a new magnet product policy.
On March 23, 2023, Amazon will implement a new seller policy that requires compliance with magnet regulations.
As part of the new policy, Amazon will begin requiring test reports and compliance analysis certificates or general compliance certificates (if applicable) for magnet products. The test report must be dated on or after October 21, 2022.
The committee released new safety standards for magnets on November 15, 2022. The magnet regulations include requirements to reduce the risk of death or injury to consumers who may ingest them.
This policy will apply to loose or separable magnets used for entertainment, stress relief, and jewelry. This regulation does not apply to magnets in toys for children under 14 years old, as these items are protected by separate federal standards. The new regulations also do not apply to magnet products specifically used for educational, research, professional, commercial, or industrial purposes.
The magnet products covered by this policy:
This policy applies to magnets used in non toy products, including loose or separable magnets. Non toy magnets refer to consumer goods designed, marketed, or intended for entertainment, jewelry (including children's jewelry), psychological stimulation, or stress relief.
This policy does not apply to products specifically intended for educational, research, professional, commercial, or industrial purposes, and sold or distributed to school educators, researchers, professionals, or commercial or industrial users.
Magnet Policy:
Amazon requires all magnet products to have been tested and meet the following regulations, standards, and requirements.

In magnetic products, each loose or separable magnet that can be fully inserted into the small component test tube described in 16 CFR 1501.4 must have a magnetic flux index of less than 50 kG ² mm ² when tested according to the method described in standard 16 CFR 1262.
Toys are not subject to this rule, as toys containing magnets must comply with the requirements of Federal Toy Safety Standard 16CFR1250 (ASTMF963-17).
